Born in Arkansas in 1970 I have lived in northeast Ohio most of my life. I graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1990. In 1991 I began working on my own as a freelance graphic artist and photographer. Although, for the past couple of years, graphic arts have been my main source of income I just could never seem to shake the photobug in me. Now as I approach 40 years old I realize that life is to short not to do what you love, and for me that is photography.

So after talking with my wife Amy, and having her give me her full support and encouragement, I have decided to follow my dream. Most of the pictures that I have taken she has been right by my side, and for the past couple of years so have my kids. I feel blessed to have such a supportive and interested family. The kids, Austin and Dylan, at 7 and 5 don't always want to stop and get out of the car to hike a mile up a hill in the snow to get the shot I think is going to be there, but they do. For this I am forever grateful.
